GYMNASTIC QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 3 Senior Club Tumbling Coach. Grade 4 Club Coach in General Gymnastics. Grade 5 Assistant Club Coach in General Gymnastics.
GYMNASTICS: Won a place in the Senior European team '02 (to compete in St Petersburg). Bronze medal at the 'Stars Above the Burg River', Ukraine (Mar '02). Won the British Tournament. Award for Best Sports Acro Gymnast of the year (Nov '01). Silver medal at European Festival of Gymnastics in Evian, France (Aug '01). World Tumbling & Trampolining Championships in Odense, Denmark - finished 21st (first senior international competition July '01). In '01 started senior level gymnastics and came 3rd in first Senior British Championships. At age 18 Damien came 2nd in junior nationals & 2nd in the British Tournament. Currently a member of the Amber Valley gymnastics Display Team - performing all over Britain & abroad (winning Best Trampette & Vault display at the National Championships x3. Also took part in Golden Jubilee celebrations in front of the Queen at Pride Park football stadium (Oct '02).
